Is GTA VI coming to PC?

GTA VI is officially announced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version has not been announced, and Xbox says the game won't stream to PC either. We track PC as an open question, not a confirmed release or a confirmed absence.

Which platforms is GTA VI confirmed for?

Has a PC version been ruled out?

PC simply is not on that list, and that is all the official record says. "Not announced" is not the same as "not coming": Rockstar has said nothing either way, and we won't turn silence into a promise or a denial. If you see a headline treating a PC version as a done deal, it is running ahead of the record.

Can you stream GTA VI to a PC instead?

Not through Xbox Cloud Gaming. Xbox's chief strategy officer, Matthew Ball, said on 7 October 2026 that the game "will not be streaming exclusively or to PC". That closes the obvious workaround for PC players at launch. It says nothing about a PC version itself.

Will GTA VI come to PC eventually?

Previous Rockstar releases have eventually reached PC, but that is history and pattern, not an announcement about this game. It's useful context for what tends to happen, not evidence about what will happen here. Until Rockstar says otherwise, PC stays an open question rather than a confirmed platform or a ruled-out one.

Will GTA VI stream on Xbox Cloud Gaming? Not to PC, Xbox says

Not to PC, and not exclusively: Xbox's strategy chief said so on 7 October 2026, hours after The Verge reported that Xbox had exclusive streaming rights that would let PC players stream the game at launch. Xbox Cloud Gaming may still stream it in some form, but Microsoft hasn't said where, and streaming it wouldn't put GTA VI on Game Pass.

Can you play GTA VI on PS4, Xbox One or Series S?

No PS4 or Xbox One version: GTA VI is listed for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. The Xbox Series S is included, since it's part of that family, but Rockstar hasn't said how it runs. Analysts expect a lower resolution than PS5 and Series X, possibly around 720p, at the same 30 frames per second.
