Characters
Everyone named on the public record so far — from Rockstar's own published profiles and from what independent coverage of the official media establishes.
Faces are shown as initials, not portraits. For most of this cast nothing published describes their appearance, and we would rather show you a letter than invent a face.
The leads
The two playable protagonists Rockstar has confirmed.
- Jason Duval Works local jobs for Brian Heder One of GTA VI's two playable protagonists. Rockstar's profile has him raised around grifters and crooks, working for drug runners in the Keys after a stint in the Army, and looking for a way into something else. 10 briefings
- Lucia Caminos One of GTA VI's two playable protagonists, and the first playable woman in a modern mainline Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar's profile has her taught to fight from childhood, imprisoned at Leonida Penitentiary for fighting for her family, and out on luck with a plan to change the odds. 9 briefings
Supporting cast
Named in Rockstar's profiles or shown in the official media.
- Andres de Leon Megamundo An executive at Megamundo, the Spanish-language media conglomerate. Jason and Lucia are hired as his private security through the opening of the company's first U.S. headquarters. 1 briefing
- Boobie Ike Only Raw Records A Vice City figure who turned a street reputation into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. Rockstar gives him the tag "the Jack of Hearts", and singles out his partnership with Dre'Quan Priest in Only Raw Records as the venture he is most invested in. 1 briefing
- Brian Heder Heder boat yard, the Leonida Keys An old-school Keys drug runner from the golden age of smuggling, still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori. Rockstar's profile has him long past doing his own dirty work, and housing Jason rent-free in exchange for help with local shakedowns. 1 briefing
- Cal Hampton Jason's friend and a fellow associate of Brian Heder's. Rockstar's profile frames him as happiest at home with a beer, a scanner on Coast Guard traffic and a browser full of private tabs -- comfortable in his own paranoia. 1 briefing
- Dre'Quan Priest Only Raw Records A hustler rather than a gangster in Rockstar's framing -- dealing on the street to get by while aiming at the music business the whole time. He co-runs Only Raw Records with Boobie Ike and has signed the duo Real Dimez to the label. 1 briefing
- Ernesto Raymond's missing partner. A phone call from him is what brings the police to the apartment building during the Extended Look's opening exchange. 1 briefing
- Mendez Law enforcement task force The officer who leads the task-force raid on the apartment building in the Extended Look's opening sequence. 1 briefing
- Petra Navarro Megamundo Chief Operating Officer of Megamundo, present at the opening of the company's first U.S. headquarters. Sources name her by job title only -- a widely repeated claim that she is de Leon's wife appears in none of the articles behind this record. 1 briefing
- Raul Bautista A seasoned bank robber -- confidence, charm and cunning in Rockstar's framing -- always hunting for talent willing to take the risks that pay most. His recklessness raises the stakes with every score. 1 briefing
- Raymond Boobie Ike's operation An associate of Boobie Ike's, wary about moving product since his partner disappeared. Jason and Lucia meet him at an apartment building while collecting for Boobie; the exchange is interrupted by a police raid. One outlet's wording describes him as a cat, which reads as period slang for "a guy" in context -- no source states outright that he is a person, so this record sits at inference rather than confirmed. 1 briefing
- Valentina Called "Val" by Lucia and "Tina" by the man they are hired to protect. She brings Jason and Lucia on as private security for the Megamundo job. Independently identified by multiple outlets as the Valentina who appeared briefly in GTA Online's 2025 Money Fronts update -- on this record, the first GTA Online character to carry over into GTA VI. 1 briefing
