District within Vice City

Downtown Vice City

The downtown of GTA VI's Vice City. It is signposted, not named: a highway sign in Trailer 1 reads "Stockyard/Downtown", as Miami New Times read it, and the skyline behind it copies downtown Miami's, down to the cutout of the Marquis tower. Rockstar's own copy doesn't name a downtown district, so its name, size and edges are unconfirmed.

What's confirmed

  • The name — Downtown Vice City is official, published by Rockstar Games in its own GTA VI materials.
  • Rockstar's own short description of the place, which is what the summary above passes along in plain language.
  • That it is part of the game's world: Downtown Vice City sits within Vice City.

What isn't

Everything spatial. No official material has stated any of the following, and we don't estimate them from screenshots, trailer frames, or community mapping:

  • Where it sits on a map, or its position relative to anywhere else
  • Its size, boundaries, or how much of the map it occupies
  • Its internal layout — districts, streets, or landmarks beyond any Rockstar has named outright
  • Travel time or distance to or from it
  • What you can do there, beyond what a briefing below states with a source behind it

That's the whole confirmed record for Downtown Vice City. When Rockstar publishes more, this page changes — not before.
