The Megamundo job: a new story thread from the Extended Look
The Extended Look's second half follows a private-security gig gone wrong: Valentina -- on this record, GTA VI's first returning GTA Online character -- hires Jason and Lucia to protect a Megamundo executive through his company's headquarters opening, which an armed break-in interrupts. What's corroborated, what's single-source, and a location name (Bayside) whose place on the map remains unresolved.
The Extended Look isn't only a tour of Rockstar's confirmed supporting cast. A good chunk of it is a single job, start to finish, and that job has its own cast, its own location, and its own outcome -- gunfire.
Verdict: Confirmed: a character called Valentina hires Jason and Lucia as security for Andres de Leon, an executive at the media company Megamundo, through the opening of its U.S. headquarters, where COO Petra Navarro appears. Valentina is independently identified as a returning character from GTA Online. What happens when the job goes wrong, and a location called Bayside, are both single-source on this record -- carried, and labelled as exactly that.
The image above is an original illustration, not a depiction of anything Rockstar has shown. Megamundo's logo, building, and signage -- including the street sign naming "Centro" and "Puerto" -- are invented for this page. Rockstar has confirmed that Megamundo exists as a media company; it has not shown what any of it looks like, and neither "Centro" nor "Puerto" appears in any source behind this briefing. Treat the picture as illustration, not evidence -- the text below is where the actual sourcing lives.
Who is Valentina in GTA VI?
Lucia calls her "Val" at the airport. The man they're both there to protect later calls her "Tina" and hugs her. Full name: Valentina -- and two outlets, watching independently, both make the same identification: this is the Valentina who had a brief, forgettable cameo in GTA Online's 2025 Money Fronts update, recognizable this time by name, look, and a specific facial mole neither outlet had reason to invent on its own.
That makes her notable for something that has nothing to do with the few minutes she's on screen here. On this record, she's the first character confirmed to cross over from GTA Online into GTA VI.
The job itself is corroborated the same clean way: Valentina brings Jason and Lucia on as security for Andres de Leon, an executive at Megamundo -- a Spanish-language media conglomerate -- and the work takes them from his arrival in the city to the opening celebration for the company's first U.S. headquarters, where COO Petra Navarro appears.
A widely repeated detail does not survive checking: Navarro is described in several places as de Leon's wife, but that relationship appears in neither article behind this briefing -- both name her by job title only. It is not on the record here.
What happens during the Megamundo job?
One detailed account has the celebration interrupted by an armed break-in: men dressed as medical staff, in white jumpsuits, storming the party and splitting Jason and Lucia onto separate floors. Jason shoots his way through while shielding de Leon, at one point slowing time for a run of precise headshots -- a mechanic the account compares to the character-specific powers from GTA V. Lucia, elsewhere in the building, ends up in hand-to-hand combat.
We found one outlet with this level of detail on the break-in specifically, and looked for a second without success -- not a contradiction, just nothing else covering that exact beat closely enough to confirm or deny it. So it sits at inference: an account we take seriously, specific enough that it isn't easily invented, but not yet corroborated the way the job itself is.
What do we know about Bayside?
A new place name surfaces during the chase that follows: Bayside. One detailed account describes storefronts and a beachfront in scattered shots, reached after Jason and Lucia lose the police, and frames it as a neighbourhood inside Vice City. Other coverage of the same footage describes a similar run of activity -- basketball, jet skis, kayaking, a beachfront safehouse -- without consistently tying it to that name, and at least one summary treats the area as separate from Vice City rather than part of it.
Where Bayside sits is therefore unresolved. Nothing official establishes Leonida's geography -- not size, not boundaries, not how named places relate to each other -- and one account of a few seconds of footage does not settle it. Bayside is recorded here at low confidence and stays off the location pages until the evidence behind it matches theirs.
How solid is the Megamundo story?
One job, four claims, three grades: two things two outlets agree on, one thing one detailed account reports and nobody's yet corroborated, and one place name we're recording without pretending to know where it sits. That's not a hedge -- it's what the actual state of the evidence looks like right now.
What changes this: A second independent account of the break-in or of Bayside specifically, any official confirmation from Rockstar, or the game itself on 19 November 2026.

Open the claim record — 4 claims
- Confirmed High confidence
A character called "Val" and "Tina" in dialogue -- full name Valentina -- hires Jason and Lucia as private security in the Extended Look, and is identified by multiple outlets as a returning character from GTA Online's 2025 Money Fronts update.
- Confirmed High confidence
Jason and Lucia are hired as private security for Andres de Leon, an executive at the media conglomerate Megamundo, protecting him through the opening event for the company's first U.S. headquarters; Petra Navarro, Megamundo's COO, is present at the event.
- Inference Moderate confidence
The Megamundo headquarters event is interrupted by an armed break-in -- men in medical masks and white jumpsuits -- that separates Jason and Lucia; Jason fights through the breach using a slow-motion combat ability while protecting de Leon.
- Inference Low confidence
The Extended Look names and shows a location called Bayside -- storefronts, a beach, graffiti, waterways -- reached during a high-speed chase; whether it is a district within Vice City or a separate area is not established, and accounts of the presentation disagree on this.
