What are GTA VI's radio stations? Six revealed, plus podcasts

On 8 October 2026 Rockstar revealed six of GTA VI's in-game radio stations: Cocoteo FM (Latin), Back Country Radio (country), AfroBank FM (African music), The Chamber 106.6 (metal), Flash FM (pop) and Dirty South Classics (Southern rap), each with two hosts. The game also gets on-demand podcasts for the first time, played through in-game headphones and earbuds. Classic Rock and Talk Radio stations exist too but weren't shown, and no tracklists are out.

Rockstar has shown the first stations on GTA VI's radio dial: six of them, each with two hosts and a genre, plus a series first, on-demand podcasts. What it hasn't shown is what any of them will play.

Verdict: Confirmed by Rockstar's own newswire post of 8 October 2026 and its Music page: six in-game radio stations, named below, and on-demand podcasts for the first time in the series, with radio and podcasts playable through new in-game headphones and earbuds linked to the characters' phones. Rockstar says its radio also includes Classic Rock and Talk Radio stations, which weren't among the six. Not confirmed: the total number of stations, any tracklist, the podcasts' names, and whether the album's 34 tracks are the radio.

Which radio stations has Rockstar revealed for GTA VI?

Six, each with two hosts:

  • Cocoteo FM: modern Latin music, hosted by El Martillo and La Gata, from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton.
  • Back Country Radio: renegade country from MW and Delta Dawne, broadcasting to the Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn. A roving reporter, "swamp meteorologist" Mud Dog Mike, checks in from an airboat.
  • AfroBank FM: African music from Burna and Palmsy, from 20th-century classics and undiscovered gems to amapiano and 3-step.
  • The Chamber 106.6: classic metal from the 1980s onward, with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom. It's the only station Rockstar gave a dial number.
  • Flash FM: pop, with Robyn and Alex, billed as a Vice City institution. Fans will know the name from 2002's *Vice City*.
  • Dirty South Classics: regional rap and hip-hop classics from Trick and Trina, "from the beach to the block".

Rockstar's Music page has an audio preview for each, the first time the stations can be heard. We haven't transcribed the previews, so nothing here says what they play.

Are there more stations than these six?

Yes. Rockstar calls the six a selection, and its own text says the radio spans stations "from Classic Rock to Talk Radio". None of the six is a Classic Rock or Talk Radio station, so those exist elsewhere on the dial. Rockstar hasn't given a total, or named the others.

Does GTA VI have podcasts?

Yes, and it's new for the series. Rockstar says GTA VI introduces on-demand podcasts for Jason and Lucia, outside the terrestrial radio. Radio and podcasts can be played in vehicles and on foot, through new headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones. Rockstar hasn't named a podcast, said who hosts them, or shown how the controls work.

Is the GTA VI album the radio soundtrack?

Not as far as Rockstar has said. The Album is a separate release: 34 original tracks, out on 19 November, the same day as the game. Rockstar's radio post mentions it only to say more singles are coming and to link the pre-save and the vinyl and CD pre-orders. Whether any of those 34 tracks air on a station is still unconfirmed, as the album briefing says.

Which songs and artists will be on the radio?

Unannounced. Rockstar gave no tracklists and no list of licensed artists for any station, and the hosts' names are all it says about who's on air. The Album's six singles are out already, but they're a different product, with their own page.

What's next?

Rockstar says more is coming on the game's dynamic score and on more singles from The Album, with no date. With the game out on 19 November, further music news is likely before launch.

What changes this: Rockstar naming more stations (the Classic Rock and Talk Radio ones are the obvious next reveals), publishing a tracklist or licensed-artist list, naming the podcasts, or saying whether any of The Album's 34 tracks play on a station. Any of those would extend this record; none is expected to overturn what Rockstar has confirmed here.
